Attemption

A story about a great woman in time whose name engraved in Quran.

So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She cried in her anguish: Ah! Would that I had died before this! Would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!
But a voice cried to her from beneath the palm tree: grieve not! For your Lord has provided a rivulet beneath you;
And shake towards yourself the trunk of the palm tree. It will let fall fresh ripe dates upon you.

(Mary: 22-25)

There once when someone ask me to be a woman as great as Maryam. She is the mother of Prophet Isa; daughter of Maryam and Prophet Zakariyya's niece.

She is so wonderful that I think nobody could catch up on her. To be very obedient subjugating herself; dedicating whole of her life only for Allah, The Khaliq. She never refused to live by her own in the Masjid of Sacred House (Jerussalem), far from her family since she was born.

And Allah honoured her through the sustenance (which she gets when she lives in the mihrab) and the Isa himself.

waitt,

by the way, the obstacles that she go through isn't easy either.

Keep tough, although to be slandered by the people; until she reach her limit and go isolate herself in a unknown place just for her baby. Just for Allah, actually. She do believe in Allah. Sangat sangat sangat kan. She knows The Raheem will not leave her alone. And yes, the God do fullfil His promise. He protects Maryam and Isa as a return to the faith that presented by them. Oh, how I wish I could be as strong as her.

Ngaa ngaaa~

Everytime when exam week starts, those beautiful akhowat of mine will keep remind me about story of Maryam; so that we'll always remember about a fact that:

'Usaha itu satu wasilah. Allah yang memberikan kejayaan.'

It is not us, not even our effort that bring us to success. It is Allah who did. Believing in those words do lessen my tense and make me realize that everything happened in this universe all under His power. He is Al-Qadir, Ar-Razzaq, An-Nafi'. He can do anything that He want!

Instead, we also need to do something, because nothing will happend if we didn't move, right? Because He love an abid who give all-in-and-out in their work and then worship Allah for their sake. That is what we called as khusyuk.

Like in Maryam's tale. Didn't He told her to shake the trunk of palm tree for dates? Even logically we know that mother who is in pain of giving birth didn't get much energy to do that.

It is because Allah want to remind us that our work aren't the main factor that lead to our success. It is His will. Anyway, we need to do the usaha.

And then tawakal. Just like Maryam did. The dates do fall, then.

May Allah bless. Tomorrow is anatomy oral examination. Ugh, tajdid niat!

NB: maaf, bahasa inggeris kucar kacir. Maklumlah, lama dah tak ber-BI.
NB2: word 'attemption' tu tak wujud pun. tapi urban people anggap ia sebagai 'the act of making an attempt'

Sekian.
